The Murchison Falls

The Murchision falls also known as the Kabalega falls is found between Lake Kyoga and Lake Albert on the White Nile River in Uganda, in the Murchison National Park. It is 7 meters wide, 43 meters high and flows into Lake Albert, the outlet of Lake Victoria. The fall is named after the late Sir. Roderick Murchison president of the Royal Geographical Society. It was discovered by Samuel and Florence Baker the first Europeans to set eyes on it.
